About the event
CLASS: Eventé (Long-Form Improv).
Prerequisite: Improv Principles.
Instructor: Ryan Huban.
In this 8-week improv class, you'll be part of an ensemble to learn and perform the improv long-form, Eventé.
What the heck is an Eventé? Based on an audience suggestion, an event unfolds in the present day. Characters are taken back in time to explore their backstories in a series of flashbacks. Players jump back and forth from past to present, ending with a run of scenes to show what happens to everyone in the future as a result of having attended the event. Whoa... wild, right?!
Character games, story narratives, comedic premises, time-jumps, tag-outs... Eventé has it all! Class ends with a performance.
