About the event
For the first time, NYC Gay Improv is bringing short-form Improv Games to Hell's Kitchen. Get ready to laugh, think on your feet, and play like a pro in this eight-week class, where you'll learn the fast and funny game-based improv style we use in Howdy Stranger shows.
If you love playing games, this improv class is the ultimate game night. Everything from rapid-fire guessing games to pun battles, character impersonations, charades and act-outs, one-word stories, and lots more.
Whether you're new to improv or a long-form veteran looking to switch it up, this style of short-form improv offers a whole new way to connect, create, and crack each other up.
It’s physical. It’s clever. It’s collaborative. And yes—it all builds toward a final class performance, where you'll get to show off your new skills in front of a live audience. Get your game face on and come play!
Recommended prerequisite: NYC Gay Improv Level 1 or similar experience.
