About the event
In this 8-week class, learn the improv form, Monologue Deconstruction! (Prerequisite: Improv Principles).
In the Monologue Deconstruction, spontaneous story-telling leads to scenes and a montage. To begin, a player steps forward and tells a true story inspired by a suggestion, afterwhich, a series of scenes are played out based on ideas and comedic premises extracted from details in the story. More freedom and less stress than the complex long-forms, everyone can benefit from taking or re-visiting this super fun class!
