Grab a friend and sign up for DuoProv! In this 2-hour workshop, you and your partner will team up to improvise scenes and situations using nothing but your chemistry, instincts, and each other. All experience levels welcome, just bring someone you want to play with! (Registration: $60/pair)

About the event
Two friends. One scene. No escape.
DuoProv (also called Two-Prov or Two Person Improv) is an improv format where two performers create entire scenes, relationships, and worlds using only each other. With no group edits, walk-ons, or safety nets, every choice matters, forcing both players to fully support and inspire one another. It’s often considered one of the most intimate and rewarding forms of improv because… there’s nowhere to hide! Everything emerges from shared trust, presence, and discovery.
Great improv scenes are rarely about plot, they’re about relationships. This 2-hour workshop is dedicated entirely to the connection between two performers and the emotional reality they build together on stage.
Working exclusively with the partner you sign up with, you’ll explore chemistry, honest reactions, and sustainable relationship dynamics through two-player exercises and scene work. Pairs will learn how to create scenes where the humor arises from truth, specificity, and commitment.
Will your scenes be patient and heartfelt? Quick-witted and chaotic? Deeply grounded or absurdly funny? Let your chemistry lead the way!
