About the event
In “Improv for Teens,” students (ages 13-16) will learn essential improv techniques in the form of theater games that inspire comedic self-expression and boost confidence on stage. This class focuses on the importance of agreement, support, and collaboration. Become an active listener and learn to embrace spontaneity to make bold choices, create interesting characters, and develop unique environments with your scene partners—all without any scripts, costumes, or props. This fun engaging class helps teens:
Build confidence and explore self-expression.

Enhance creativity, quick-thinking, and comedic abilities.

Improve communication and collaboration skills.
★
Understand principles of improvisation, such as "yes, and," character development, and "finding the game.”

Build trust and inclusivity in a supportive environment.
