About the event
In this 8-week class with NYC Gay Improv, you'll learn intermediate and advanced improv tactics to navigate the comedic chaos of a Montage, where anything goes. Increase your arsenal of improv techniques: dynamic scene-work, group games, split screens, scene painting, walk-ons, call-backs, tag-outs, cut-tos... more possibilities means more fun!
A variety of games, exercises, and other long-form structures will be played throughout class to reinforce key concepts of identifying patterns, heightening games, and making connections between characters. (Prerequisite: Level One Improv Principles or similar experience).
Join fellow students after class at Rise Bar, one block away from the studio. Improvise, then socialize, with NYC Gay Improv.
